1. Authority to obtain information from Inland Revenue
I give authority to Kiwi Accounting & Tax Services Ltd (KATS) to link my IRD number to its Tax Agency.
I give authority to KATS to act as my Tax Agent for the purpose of preparation of my tax returns or personal tax summary (PTS) until I notify otherwise.
2. Identity Verification
I agree that KATS has permission to verify my identity by receiving approved photo ID/NZ Driver's License verification.
3. Privacy Act 1993
KATS will not disclose my information to any other party without your consent, except as required by law. Exceptions are to verify your identity with Veda NZ or to update your records with the IRD.
4. Disclaimer of Liability
KATS has not audited or reviewed the information that you have provided. We rely on the information submitted by you and supplied to us by the IRD. Therefore, we do not accept any responsibility or liability for the accuracy of the information from which your tax returns are prepared.
